Last week, I promised you the third lesson of my four years in business.
And that’s not the newsletter I’m delivering today.
For over 3 years I’ve prided myself on new writing delivered in your inbox each Sunday at 10am ET.
From vacations to busy weeks, a new piece of content has shown up from either myself or a collaborator.
But this week, I’m taking my own advice and pruning to the most minimum viable activities.
Why?
Some GIANT “Build the Business” projects are all due early next week.
- Reviewing my edits and completing pre-creative activities for my book (y’all there’s a fast-paced timeline now, and this book will be in my hands by September)
- Reviewing the build of my website for final edits (new brand launching in less than 30 days, omg)
- Prepping for the program I’m launching this summer about building the business relationships that lead to revenue (email me if you want the early scoop)
And my husband and I are going to a music festival this weekend, as I write this piece on a Friday. I’m not going to stress about this newsletter and instead enjoy the stylings of Weezer and Dave Matthews Band.
So in a week where all of these giant Build the Business projects are colliding? And my personal life is calling?
I’m going back to minimum viable Run the Business activities.
Not forever. I’m back next week. But I wouldn’t be walking the walk if I pushed through and ignored what’s most important.
But I’m not going to leave you without some goodness in your inbox.
